Description: Macintosh appears as a young man. He is rather unremarkable in appearance, to which he uses to his advantage. He dresses simply in dark or earthen colors, but is always with at least a vest that has many pockets. He often also carries a slim backpack and wears a jacket [presumably also with lots of pockets]. His torso has a decent amount of tissue damage seemingly caused by industrial equipment. He has tattoos on his arms, provided by his Creator, that symbolize slavery.
Disfigurement: When showing his true form, Macintosh is a young man of extremely darkened complexion, covered in gravel and soot. The Hebrew word for Truth shines on his forehead, contrasting its electrical silver against the soot.
Background: Macintosh appeared on the Created scene about the same time as Apple released the first brands of household computers in the 1980s. At first highly inquisitive about the world and desiring to understand how it worked, his fascination with communications technology lead to severe frustration. Intuitively understanding the potential of technology on the world and desiring to know how it coupled with human existence, his tendency towards Mercurious drove him mad. In a fit of Torment, he raged across the small industrial town he was born in and disappeared into the wastes, presumably to the wide expanse of the Dakotas. Over twenty years later he has returned at the advent of more advanced technology and spent time quickly learning how to use it. Rumors persist that though he still is ravaged by Torment and his current allegiance to alchemical Tin, he is calming. He uses his extreme technological prowess to make money. Money he stored before his going to the Wastes has also accumulated a good amount of interest. Mac is typically mobile, having his own large transport vehicle crammed with a cobbled together super-computer.
Personality: Macintosh is a sour individual who is slowly regaining his wonder of humanity and its technological achievements. His calming is affecting his mood, and as he spends time with people online or with his Promethean allies he is growing into a fairly friendly, almost sweet individual. He is still rather timid from the violence his Torment caused before his going to the Wastes and this translated into a good dose of cowardly behavior. He has a fondness for oreos, tea, and musicals. His greatest understanding of humanity is through the internet, movies, and television.
History: It appears that Mac was a young adult in an industrial town somewhere in Middle America. The most likely cause of Mac's initial death considering his scars along his torso and legs was an industrial accidents of some kind. His Disfigurement suggests that the rebuilt body was placed in industrial coal and gravel to be reborn as a Golem.

Inspirations: Any hacker or "Deus ex machina" type character from literature or anime, including Lain, Michael from Witch Hunter Robin, and "Napster" from The Italian Job. Apparently Soong-type Androids (more emotional than Data, but less evil than Lore). Also, this was my original Camarilla LARP Promethean PC, though that one was born in the Industrial Revolution (thus the soot) and watched the evolution of technology over almost two centuries.
